Rapid's fully-automated machine lines have met the standards for medium and high-volume productions, while minimizing time, assuring accuracy, and maintaining low manufacturing costs. Our automated lines can handle a large mix of package types and sizes and are versatile enough to address continually changing electronic packages and last minute revisions. Our cost-effective assembly plant churns out thousands of boards utilizing Pik N Place and wave-solder technology capable of producing standard lead and RoHS 6/6 (Lead-Free) boards.

A properly designed heating process requires a 100% controlled environment to prevent thermal damage, flux residue, and contamination to the components and board. Our multi-zone reflow ovens provide adequate power and perfect temperatures for standard lead and lead-free RoHS builds.

New prototypes are challenging but the RapidSMT hand assembly department continues to deliver quality products for even the most time-sensitive projects. Our hand assembly division is overseen by our senior engineers, each having a minimumkeeping of 5 certified years of SMT experience at RapidSMT. This line focuses on low volumes, prototypes, and rework, keeping quick-turn and same-day runs swift and accurate. Our knowledgdable hand assembly department has been vital to independent engineers and university students nationwide.

A well functioning circuit board must be cleaned of all flux after production. Our low-solid-fluxes conform to environmental regulations and eliminate residue, interference, and corrosion within the components that are frequent in standard cleaning methods.

All RoHS builds strictly follow the RoHS directive, ensuring that each product is 100% lead free and contains no mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated piphenyls, or diphenyl ethers. Our low-solide, no-clean fluxes conform to environmental regulations and eliminate the residue, interference, and corrosion that occur frequently with standard cleaning methods. All orders are secured in high grade anti-static packaging protected in rigid materials. Special RoHS orders will be delivered in fully biodegradable anti-static packaging.
